Skyhoundz Northeast Regional, June 27, 2009: Melody qualified for the 2009 World Championship in Pairs Freestyle (J&T)! Melody earned 1st Place Expert Pairs Freestyle (J&T). Allegro earned 3rd Place Expert Pairs Freestyle (T&J).

Old Dominion Challenge, June 7, 2009: Allegro earned 3rd Place Advanced Obstacle Course (T).

Aussie Fest, June 6, 2009: Melody earned 3rd Place Overall Freestyle Skyhoundz Award (J), 2nd Place Expert Distance/Accuracy (J), 3rd Place Expert Freestyle (J), 3rd Place Expert Spot Landing (J), 3rd Place Expert Running Multiples (J). Allegro earned 2nd Place Novice Freestyle (T).

About Team Melody: Melody, a boxer/lab mix, discovered competitive frisbee in 2006 and has been competing seriously since 2007. Melody qualified for the 2009 Skyhoundz World Championship, qualified for and competed in the 2007 & 2008 USDDN National Finals, has earned over 200 awards, and has been featured in 4 newspaper articles. Jeff composed, performed, and recorded Melody's current Freestyle song. Allegro, a cattle dog/border collie mix, was obtained from a rescue organization at the USDDN National Finals in November, 2007.
